Security systems, surveillance cameras, access control systems, alarm systems, intercom systems, networking equipment, and smart home technologies reduce risk but do not eliminate risk.

Up North Tech and Automation L.L.C. does not guarantee the prevention of:

• Burglary

• Theft

• Vandalism

• Property damage

• Personal injury

• Fire

• Unauthorized access

• Cybersecurity incidents

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for maintaining systems, testing devices regularly, updating passwords, maintaining internet service, and following manufacturer recommendations.

No Monitoring Unless Contracted

Unless specifically stated in a separate written agreement, Up North Tech and Automation L.L.C. does not provide alarm monitoring, emergency dispatch services, or active security monitoring.

Fire Alarm Systems

Fire alarm systems are life safety devices and require ongoing inspection, testing, maintenance, and compliance with applicable codes and regulations. System installation does not guarantee the prevention of injury, death, or property loss.

Cybersecurity

Network-connected devices may be vulnerable to software defects, internet outages, cyberattacks, unauthorized access, and manufacturer-related vulnerabilities.

 

Limitation of Liability

Customer agrees that the Company’s liability for any claim relating to installed systems shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

By utilizing our services, the customer acknowledges and accepts these limitations.
